The rationale behind diversity and inclusion is the necessity of bringing together our differences in terms of gender, race, religion, age etc. in an effort to enhance collaboration, innovation as well as boosting productivity in the workplace.

Managing cultural diversity in recruitment

 

The growing needs in building or having a multicultural team begins from recruitment of personnel. This service is tailored to guide recruiters on cultural diversity issues in recruitment. We examine the impact of culture notably in candidates’ assessment, selection, interviews and hiring. 

Hospitality Cultural Awareness and Intercultural Communication

 

GILEC hospitality training is designed to improve and develop cross cultural etiquette and skills for those working or seeking a career in hospitality industry notably hotels, restaurant etc. This training transcends cultural awareness in a cross section of hospitality services such as reception/front office, reservations, dinning & bar services and housekeeping management. The program examines cultural differences, aspects of intercultural communication and skills

Cultural diversity and “fair play” in sport organizations 

 

GILEC cultural diversity program aims at strengthening the famous “fair play” slogan that promote tolerance and respect of cultural differences in sports. We support sport federations, national leagues and clubs in initiating innovative programs or campaigns that fosters cultural diversity. Depending on our assessment or clients’ needs, our cultural fair play program will provide training or advisory services to enhance cultural sensitivity, acknowledge differences, facilitate intercultural communication, integration of new transfers as well as consolidating of a strong multicultural team.

Health care cultural awareness solutions

 

Growing immigration in many countries calls for caregivers and health care professionals to develop intercultural awareness and communication competences that will enable treat and prevent diseases in an increasingly culturally diverse healthcare context. People coming from different cultures inherits different values, knowledge, attitude and beliefs that might influence their perception on health care. The goal of providing optimal healthcare to all individuals might not be reached if healthcare givers do not have understanding of basic cultural nuances that underlines patients’ needs. This training examines cultural differences and intercultural communication in health care setting. It shed light on different cultural dimensions that influences health care. The training aims to enable caregivers to enhance awareness of different cultural influences in health care context and strengthen intercultural communication competences in delivering health care services.

Migrants’ intercultural awareness program

 

We work with government entities and humanitarian organizations to support the integration of asylum seekers and refugees. This cultural awareness workshop aims to enhance refugees’ knowledge of host culture, lifestyle and enhance their integration. On the other hand the seminar will also enable social workers and humanitarian organization supporting migrants to gain knowledge of the culture from which the asylum seeker is coming from. Upon client request an analytical geopolitical and sociocultural situation of the country will be presented.
